# iOSM vs NoteGuide

The clearest difference is update cadence: NoteGuide at every 2 days against iOSM's fortnightly. iOSM's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iOSM sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and NoteGuide sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iOSM ships an update fortnightly, NoteGuide every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
