# Kahi Configuration vs OBD Connect

The clearest difference is price: Kahi Configuration at Free against OBD Connect's $9.99. OBD Connect's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (57 vs 1). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Kahi Configuration is free to download; OBD Connect costs $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
