# R3 Stretch vs SD

The clearest difference is update cadence: SD at every 4 days against R3 Stretch's every 25 months. R3 Stretch's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0.0 vs 13.0.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

R3 Stretch ships an update every 25 months, SD every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
