# Yep vs PDF Scanner App

The clearest difference is rating: PDF Scanner App at 4.6 against Yep's 4.0. PDF Scanner App also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 1). Yep's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 50%) and in-app purchases (none vs 12). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Scanner App sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Yep asks for nothing beyond the download.

PDF Scanner App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Scanner App has 4.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Yep's written reviews are positive against 50% of PDF Scanner App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yep ships an update every 5 weeks, PDF Scanner App every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
