# Amaru vs Daisy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Daisy at weekly against Amaru's monthly. Amaru's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 54) and review sentiment (86% vs 71%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amaru sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Daisy sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Amaru against 4.7 for Daisy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amaru has 1.4K ratings behind it against 54, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of Amaru's written reviews are positive against 71% of Daisy's.

Amaru ships an update monthly, Daisy weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
