# ZET vs ruID

The clearest difference is rating: ruID at 3.8 against ZET's 3.0. ruID also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (72 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ruID holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ruID has 72 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of ZET's written reviews are positive against 18% of ruID's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ZET ships an update every 2 months, ruID every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
