# Crossbar Mobile vs AthleticOps

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Crossbar Mobile at 29K against AthleticOps's 7. Crossbar Mobile also leads on chart position (#189 vs unranked). AthleticOps's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Crossbar Mobile against 5.0 for AthleticOps. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crossbar Mobile has 29K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Crossbar Mobile ships an update every 6 weeks, AthleticOps weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
