# Sibelius vs CueFlip

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CueFlip at 100% against Sibelius's 36%. CueFlip also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Sibelius's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sibelius sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and CueFlip sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CueFlip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sibelius has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 36% of Sibelius's written reviews are positive against 100% of CueFlip's.

Sibelius ships an update every 2 months, CueFlip every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
