# ProMonitoring vs Glidewell

The clearest difference is rating: ProMonitoring at 4.9 against Glidewell's 4.4. ProMonitoring also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Glidewell's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ProMonitoring holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProMonitoring has 3.6K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of ProMonitoring's written reviews are positive against 100% of Glidewell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ProMonitoring ships an update every 5 weeks, Glidewell every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
