# Currency converter, widget vs AppSell

The clearest difference is rating: Currency converter, widget at 4.6 against AppSell's 1.0. Currency converter, widget also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 1) and chart position (#42 vs unranked). AppSell's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Currency converter, widget sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. AppSell asks for nothing beyond the download.

Currency converter, widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Currency converter, widget has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Currency converter, widget's written reviews are positive against 60% of AppSell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Currency converter, widget ships an update every 3 weeks, AppSell every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
