# MapGenie vs CODMunity

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CODMunity at 87% against MapGenie's 43%. CODMunity also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 27 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MapGenie sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CODMunity sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
