# FIGS® vs Mim Scrubs

The clearest difference is ads: Mim Scrubs at none against FIGS®'s shown. Mim Scrubs also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (92% vs 79%). FIGS®'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FIGS® holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FIGS® has 25K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of FIGS®'s written reviews are positive against 92% of Mim Scrubs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FIGS® ships an update fortnightly, Mim Scrubs every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
