# TPass vs UMe Tea

The clearest difference is rating: TPass at 4.5 against UMe Tea's 3.4. TPass also leads on ratings volume (791 vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). UMe Tea's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 25%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TPass holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TPass has 791 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of TPass's written reviews are positive against 67% of UMe Tea's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TPass ships an update every 2 weeks, UMe Tea monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
