# BetterTogether vs Strive

The clearest difference is monetization model: BetterTogether at free with in-app purchases against Strive's subscription. Strive's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BetterTogether sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Strive sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BetterTogether against 4.8 for Strive. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7.8K and 3.1K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of BetterTogether's written reviews are positive against 71% of Strive's.

BetterTogether ships an update weekly, Strive every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
