# Directive vs Decio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Decio at fortnightly against Directive's every 5 weeks. Decio also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Directive sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Decio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Directive ships an update every 5 weeks, Decio fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
