# Project vs My Father's Work

The clearest difference is rating: Project at 3.4 against My Father's Work's 2.8. Project also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). My Father's Work's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 0%) and ratings volume (33 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Project holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Father's Work has 33 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Project's written reviews are positive against 20% of My Father's Work's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
