# Pocket Prep EMS 2026 vs WildLand Fire Study

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WildLand Fire Study at none against Pocket Prep EMS 2026's 6. WildLand Fire Study also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Pocket Prep EMS 2026's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 5) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pocket Prep EMS 2026 sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month. WildLand Fire Study asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pocket Prep EMS 2026 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pocket Prep EMS 2026 has 16K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Pocket Prep EMS 2026's written reviews are positive against 100% of WildLand Fire Study's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
