# Allthenticator vs Raycast

The clearest difference is rating: Raycast at 4.5 against Allthenticator's 3.5. Raycast also leads on ratings volume (252 vs 42). Allthenticator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and review sentiment (64% vs 54%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raycast sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Allthenticator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Raycast holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Raycast has 252 ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Allthenticator's written reviews are positive against 54% of Raycast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Allthenticator ships an update fortnightly, Raycast every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
