# DE FPV vs Spy Rover Mini

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Spy Rover Mini at 67% against DE FPV's 37%. Spy Rover Mini also leads on iOS requirement (8.1 vs 11.0). DE FPV's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and rating (3.6 vs 3.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DE FPV holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DE FPV has 188 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of DE FPV's written reviews are positive against 67% of Spy Rover Mini's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DE FPV ships an update every 2 months, Spy Rover Mini every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
