# CDTimer + vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CDTimer + at 100% against Digital Clock's 51%. CDTimer + also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 17). Digital Clock's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CDTimer + asks for nothing beyond the download.

Digital Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CDTimer +'s written reviews are positive against 51% of Digital Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CDTimer + ships an update every 5 weeks, Digital Clock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
