# ThermoWorks vs Anker Power

The clearest difference is rating: ThermoWorks at 4.8 against Anker Power's 4.5. ThermoWorks also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 1.5K) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ThermoWorks holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ThermoWorks has 17K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of ThermoWorks's written reviews are positive against 70% of Anker Power's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ThermoWorks ships an update monthly, Anker Power every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
