# TECO vs Car Auto Play

The clearest difference is rating: TECO at 5.0 against Car Auto Play's 4.2. TECO also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Car Auto Play's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Car Auto Play sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. TECO asks for nothing beyond the download.

TECO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Car Auto Play has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TECO ships an update every 12 months, Car Auto Play every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
