# Nexto vs Volume

The clearest difference is update cadence: Volume at monthly against Nexto's every 5 months. Nexto's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nexto ships an update every 5 months, Volume monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
