# DishPointer (Satellite Finder) vs About Right

The clearest difference is ads: About Right at none against DishPointer (Satellite Finder)'s shown. About Right also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). DishPointer (Satellite Finder)'s advantage is ratings volume (235 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DishPointer (Satellite Finder) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and About Right sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

About Right holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DishPointer (Satellite Finder) has 235 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DishPointer (Satellite Finder) ships an update every 13 months, About Right every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
