# EKONIKA vs SELA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EKONIKA at 96% against SELA's 24%. EKONIKA also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). SELA's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SELA holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SELA has 298 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of EKONIKA's written reviews are positive against 24% of SELA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EKONIKA ships an update every 3 weeks, SELA every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
