# Osmo Math Buzz vs XMAKER HD

The clearest difference is monetization model: XMAKER HD at free against Osmo Math Buzz's free with in-app purchases. XMAKER HD also leads on review sentiment (22% vs 13%). Osmo Math Buzz's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (143 vs 28). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Osmo Math Buzz sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and XMAKER HD sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Osmo Math Buzz holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osmo Math Buzz has 143 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Osmo Math Buzz's written reviews are positive against 22% of XMAKER HD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
