# SMS Instant vs Skynegys

The clearest difference is update cadence: Skynegys at every 10 days against SMS Instant's every 5 months. SMS Instant's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS Instant sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Skynegys sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
