# SMS Instant vs Skip

The clearest difference is ads: Skip at none against SMS Instant's shown. SMS Instant's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS Instant sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Skip sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $15.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
