# DOP vs DOP Fun

DOP and DOP Fun both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 57% of DOP's written reviews are positive against 41% of DOP Fun's. DOP also leads on ratings volume (234K vs 16K). DOP Fun's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DOP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DOP Fun sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for DOP against 4.6 for DOP Fun. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DOP has 234K ratings behind it against 16K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of DOP's written reviews are positive against 41% of DOP Fun's.

DOP ships an update monthly, DOP Fun fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
