# Tech vs RX2

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RX2 at 100% against Tech's 13%. RX2 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Tech's advantage is ratings volume (83 vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RX2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tech has 83 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of Tech's written reviews are positive against 100% of RX2's.

Tech ships an update monthly, RX2 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
