# Tech vs Sena MeshPort

The clearest difference is rating: Tech at 1.6 against Sena MeshPort's 1.0. Tech also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (87 vs 3). Sena MeshPort's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tech holds the better App Store score, 1.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tech has 87 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Tech's written reviews are positive against 50% of Sena MeshPort's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tech ships an update monthly, Sena MeshPort every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
