# Tech vs EXO

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tech at monthly against EXO's every 4 months. Tech also leads on ratings volume (83 vs 12). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EXO holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tech has 83 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of Tech's written reviews are positive against 16% of EXO's.

Tech ships an update monthly, EXO every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
