# Devyce vs 2nd line

Devyce and 2nd line both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 64% of Devyce's written reviews are positive against 33% of 2nd line's. 2nd line's advantage is ratings volume (223 vs 22) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Devyce sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and 2nd line sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

2nd line holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 2nd line has 223 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Devyce's written reviews are positive against 33% of 2nd line's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Devyce ships an update every 2 weeks, 2nd line every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
