# Devyce vs Virtual Phone Number

The clearest difference is monetization model: Virtual Phone Number at free with in-app purchases against Devyce's subscription. Virtual Phone Number also leads on ratings volume (132 vs 22) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). Devyce's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Devyce sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Virtual Phone Number sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Devyce holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Phone Number has 132 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 64% and 65% positive.

Devyce ships an update every 2 weeks, Virtual Phone Number every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
