# MWI vs Aumet Pulse

The clearest difference is rating: Aumet Pulse at 4.5 against MWI's 3.0. Aumet Pulse also leads on ratings volume (90 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). MWI's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aumet Pulse holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aumet Pulse has 90 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of MWI's written reviews are positive against 0% of Aumet Pulse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MWI ships an update every 2 months, Aumet Pulse every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
