# SunStrong Connect vs Mainlink

The clearest difference is rating: SunStrong Connect at 4.4 against Mainlink's 2.2. SunStrong Connect also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Mainlink's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 12%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SunStrong Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SunStrong Connect has 15K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of SunStrong Connect's written reviews are positive against 25% of Mainlink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SunStrong Connect ships an update every 2 weeks, Mainlink every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
