# Whoo vs Elele

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Whoo at none against Elele's 19. Whoo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Elele's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and review sentiment (64% vs 48%). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elele sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.89 per 7 days. Whoo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Whoo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elele has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Whoo's written reviews are positive against 64% of Elele's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whoo ships an update every 3 weeks, Elele monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
