# Nipto vs ForecastYou

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nipto at every 4 days against ForecastYou's every 2 months. Nipto also leads on ratings volume (897 vs 4). ForecastYou's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nipto sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and ForecastYou sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ForecastYou holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nipto has 897 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nipto ships an update every 4 days, ForecastYou every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
