# PDF Pro Reader Edit vs PDF Mpjex

The clearest difference is ads: PDF Pro Reader Edit at none against PDF Mpjex's shown. PDF Mpjex's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and ratings volume (325 vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Pro Reader Edit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PDF Mpjex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Pro Reader Edit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Mpjex has 325 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of PDF Pro Reader Edit's written reviews are positive against 100% of PDF Mpjex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PDF Pro Reader Edit ships an update every 4 weeks, PDF Mpjex every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
