# AI Viewer vs FlowState

The clearest difference is ads: FlowState at none against AI Viewer's shown. AI Viewer's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Viewer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year and FlowState sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Viewer ships an update fortnightly, FlowState every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
