# Simple VPN Pro vs TimeNest

The clearest difference is ads: Simple VPN Pro at none against TimeNest's shown. Simple VPN Pro also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). TimeNest's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple VPN Pro sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and TimeNest sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple VPN Pro ships an update fortnightly, TimeNest every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
