# Nickname Generator vs Ready Nickname ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nickname Generator and Ready Nickname ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Ready Nickname ¯\_(ツ)_/¯'s written reviews are positive against 38% of Nickname Generator's. Ready Nickname ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Nickname Generator's advantage is ratings volume (579 vs 45). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nickname Generator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Ready Nickname ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nickname Generator holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nickname Generator has 579 ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Nickname Generator's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ready Nickname ¯\_(ツ)_/¯'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
