# OverclockeTD vs Square TD

The clearest difference is update cadence: Square TD at every 11 days against OverclockeTD's every 2 months. OverclockeTD's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OverclockeTD sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Square TD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OverclockeTD ships an update every 2 months, Square TD every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
