# todo mate vs Ebbinghaus Planner

The clearest difference is ads: todo mate at none against Ebbinghaus Planner's shown. todo mate also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 14). Ebbinghaus Planner's advantage is review sentiment (95% vs 72%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. todo mate sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ebbinghaus Planner sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

todo mate holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: todo mate has 1.5K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of todo mate's written reviews are positive against 95% of Ebbinghaus Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
