# Taba CCTV vs Parental Control App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Taba CCTV at none against Parental Control App's 15. Taba CCTV also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). Parental Control App's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parental Control App sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Taba CCTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Taba CCTV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parental Control App has 2.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Taba CCTV ships an update every 6 months, Parental Control App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
