# waitAround Clients vs ShiftBOOKD

The clearest difference is monetization model: waitAround Clients at free against ShiftBOOKD's freemium. ShiftBOOKD's advantage is ratings volume (37 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for waitAround Clients against 4.9 for ShiftBOOKD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShiftBOOKD has 37 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
