# Wicket Edge vs Comet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wicket Edge at none against Comet's 3. Wicket Edge also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Comet's advantage is ratings volume (7.8K vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Wicket Edge asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wicket Edge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comet has 7.8K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wicket Edge ships an update fortnightly, Comet weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
