# Par Timer Pro vs GM Path

The clearest difference is ads: Par Timer Pro at none against GM Path's shown. Par Timer Pro also leads on ratings volume (377 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). GM Path's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Par Timer Pro sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and GM Path sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GM Path holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Par Timer Pro has 377 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Par Timer Pro ships an update weekly, GM Path every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
