# CRAFTSMAN Auto Assist vs Auto Monkey

The clearest difference is rating: CRAFTSMAN Auto Assist at 4.6 against Auto Monkey's 3.4. CRAFTSMAN Auto Assist also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (281 vs 36). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CRAFTSMAN Auto Assist holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CRAFTSMAN Auto Assist has 281 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of CRAFTSMAN Auto Assist's written reviews are positive against 57% of Auto Monkey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CRAFTSMAN Auto Assist ships an update fortnightly, Auto Monkey every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
