# NotePlan vs Adonit One

The clearest difference is rating: NotePlan at 4.8 against Adonit One's 2.7. NotePlan also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 47%) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 9). Adonit One's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NotePlan sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Adonit One sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NotePlan holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NotePlan has 1.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
